CHANNEL ZERO: Video Tribute To Fallen Drummer

August 14, 2013

Belgian metallers CHANNEL ZERO have posted a four-minute video tribute to their fallen drummer, Phil Baheux, who passed away this past Saturday (August 10) at the age of 45. Check it out below.

CHANNEL ZERO is scheduled to pay tribute to Phil Baheux tonight (Wednesday, August 14) by playing a short acoustic set on the stage of the Mont des Arts at the Brussels Summer Festival.

For all the bandmembers, as well as for the fans, this will be an homage to the musician and the man Phil Baheux used to be.

The organizers will install a big screen on stage for this occasion.

All other previously announced CHANNEL ZERO shows will be canceled due to this tragic event.

Baheux founded CHANNEL ZERO in 1990, along with singer Franky De Smet-Van Damme and bassist Tino De Martino. In 2010, they reformed the band with the addition of American guitarist Mikey Doling [SNOT, SOULFLY].

At the time of Phil's death, the band was in the process of recording a new studio album.

CHANNEL ZERO's latest album, "Feed 'Em With A Brick", received a wider European release in June 2012 via Graviton Music Services. The CD, which was originally made available in June 2011 in Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg through Roadrunner Records, was recorded at a Los Angeles-area studio with producer Logan Mader (MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, DEVILDRIVER, GOJIRA).
